Crowns and bridges
When little of the tooth is left, a crown covers what remains. Made in the laboratory and tried in before it is fitted.
A crown is made in a laboratory from an impression or a scan and covers what is left of the tooth. It is tried in before it is cemented, and the shade is chosen against the teeth either side of it rather than out of a catalogue. A bridge is the same work carrying a false tooth across a gap.

Where it happens
The chair, the instruments, the bench behind them and the people who use them — the part of a treatment a paragraph cannot show you.
Illustrative photographs. Pictures of the practice are on the way.
How it goes
The three steps every treatment here has: what is looked at first, what happens in the chair, and what you leave with.

Preparation
The tooth is shaped and an impression or a scan taken; you leave with a temporary crown.

The laboratory
The crown is made in porcelain or zirconia, and the shade is chosen against the teeth beside it.

Try-in and fit
It is tried before it is cemented. If the bite or the colour does not convince, it goes back.
How long it keeps you
Appointments, days in Vlorë, and months from start to finish.
An indication, not a quote. What it actually takes depends on the examination — and you get the plan, how many visits, how long and what it costs, in writing at the first visit.
