Dentures
A full or partial denture where too many teeth are missing for a bridge. Tried in wax before anything is final.
When too many teeth are gone for a bridge, a denture replaces them and rests on the gums or on the teeth that remain. It is built in stages — impression, bite, a try-in in wax, then the finished one — and the wax try-in is there precisely so you can see the shape and the colour and change them while nothing has been cut. It takes more appointments than anything else on this page, and the first weeks are practice: speaking and eating with it is a habit that arrives.
How long it keeps you
Appointments, days in Vlorë, and months from start to finish.
An indication, not a quote. What it actually takes depends on the examination — and you get the plan, how many visits, how long and what it costs, in writing at the first visit.

How it goes
The three steps every treatment here has: what is looked at first, what happens in the chair, and what you leave with.

Impression and bite
The shape of the gums and the way the jaws close are both recorded.

The wax try-in
You see it and try it before anything is final. Changes happen here.

Fitting and adjustment
It is fitted, then adjusted after the first week; sore spots are expected rather than a surprise.
Where it happens
The chair, the instruments, the bench behind them and the people who use them — the part of a treatment a paragraph cannot show you.
Illustrative photographs. Pictures of the practice are on the way.
Usually alongside this
Not a sales list — what most often goes with this, or the other honest answer to the same problem.
Come and have it looked at.
Tell us what is bothering you and we will ring you back during opening hours. Nothing is started before you have the plan in writing and the price agreed.
