Veneers
Thin porcelain shells over the front of the tooth. The shape and the colour change; the tooth underneath stays.
A layer of porcelain about as thick as a fingernail, made in the laboratory and bonded to the front of the tooth. It is what we reach for when the colour will not come back with whitening, or when a tooth is small, worn or chipped. Very little enamel is removed, and in some cases none at all — but what is removed does not grow back, so which of the two your case is gets said before the work starts rather than after.
People come to this when:
- I do not like how they look
Where it happens
The chair, the instruments, the bench behind them and the people who use them — the part of a treatment a paragraph cannot show you.
Illustrative photographs. Pictures of the practice are on the way.
How it goes
The three steps every treatment here has: what is looked at first, what happens in the chair, and what you leave with.

Agreeing the shape
Colour and shape are settled together, and how much enamel comes off is said beforehand.

Impression and laboratory
The veneers are made in porcelain on your own impression, not from a stock shell.

Bonding
Tried one at a time, then bonded. You bite normally from that day.
How long it keeps you
Appointments, days in Vlorë, and months from start to finish.
An indication, not a quote. What it actually takes depends on the examination — and you get the plan, how many visits, how long and what it costs, in writing at the first visit.
