Implants
A titanium root where the missing one was, and a crown on top of it. The closest thing to the tooth you had.
A titanium root is placed where the missing one was and then left alone while the bone grows onto it — that is the wait, and it is the part no clinic can shorten. Months later the crown goes on top. It is the only treatment here that replaces the root as well as the tooth, which is why the teeth either side of the gap are left untouched.

How long it keeps you
Appointments, days in Vlorë, and months from start to finish.
An indication, not a quote. What it actually takes depends on the examination — and you get the plan, how many visits, how long and what it costs, in writing at the first visit.

How it goes
The three steps every treatment here has: what is looked at first, what happens in the chair, and what you leave with.

Will the bone hold it
The X-ray shows how much bone there is. If there is not enough, grafting comes first.

Placing it
The titanium root goes in under local anaesthetic, and then the bone is given time.

The crown
Three to six months later the crown goes on top. That is the second visit, usually the second trip.
Where it happens
The chair, the instruments, the bench behind them and the people who use them — the part of a treatment a paragraph cannot show you.
